Via various routes, (sometimes interesting) information reaches The Cattery.
On checking thorough a recent batch of PDF files the attached image was seen. I can see no reason why not to share it . . .
Associated with that image was a list of (quote) "Useful ISIS documents related to connectorised FTTP build" (end quote) --
- CBT Installation EPT/COF/C005
- Splitter Node 2A EPT/COF/D886
- TM Family of Joints EPT/COF/D945

So those murderous, evil ‘Islamic’ maniacs Daesh are moving into the internet business now...
...and inventing words like 'connectorised'. ::)

It is rather unfortunate but I believe it is an Openreach acronym for something like "Intelligent Solutions Information System".
Perhaps Black Sheep would be able to clarify? :-\
I seem to recall that there is (or was) an Openreach SLAG Course ("Signage, Lighting And Guarding") for those working in public places.

I read an article on the reflex of sneezing when exposed to sunlight and came across possibly the most contrived acronym ever. "Autosomal Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst" (ACHOO). Must have worked for days to find that.

There is definitely a 'SLAG course' .... attended a refresher myself, last year. ;D
Now then, try as I might, I just can not find an answer to the ISIS question ?? I've typed into our powerful internal search engine all manner of questions .... including your own thesis of 'intelligent solutions information systems' ..... but it yields no results whatsoever ??
Being a nerd, I kind of pride myself on being clued-up with BT's abvs and TLA's .... but this one has me stumped.

Think in the deep and distant past ISIS was "Inland Services Information System"
