Title: Salisbury Falcons -- 2018
Post by: jelv on April 02, 2018, 12:29:50 PM
The Salisbury falcons are back but no sign of a webcam yet. Last year's male has been kicked out and there's a new unringed one in it's place.

Still shenanigans at Salisbury:

I asked about the webcam this morning and got this response:

We are waiting for them to nest - there are at least 3 birds showing interest in it at present but there is not a lot to see as their visits to the box are brief

Just checked for an update on what is happening with the Salisbury peregrines; the latest I found was this: https://ww2.rspb.org.uk/groups/southwiltshire/news/454385/ (https://ww2.rspb.org.uk/groups/southwiltshire/news/454385/)

On a more positive note I was in Bath last night watching one of them flying round St John's. Some very healthy looking chicks.
