I don't know whether any of you use this website which I only found recently - www.accuradio.com/
It is advert free and plays a very wide range of music with separate channels for Rock, Pop, Country, Classical, Jazz and Latin and has a variety of sub-channels in each category - with AccuJazz alone there are 18 separate sub-channels 8)
Since The Jazz music channel on DAB radio closed down at the end of March I've been delighted to find this alternative. You can also play CDs directly from their Music Library. The site seems to fund itself from a link to the appropriate Amazon page for each CD being played.

I hadn't come across that one before. The one I normally use is shoutcast (http://shoutcast.com/)

Thanks for that linky Eric. It looks interesting and plays at a somewhat higher bitrate.

These sites which we have been discussing are only portals which collect together the addresses of large numbers of internet radio stations and present them to you in an organised manner. Your actual sound stream comes directly from the radio station which you select. If you get a message like the above it's probably because the radio station you're listening to has glitched, and it makes no difference what portal you used to access it.

I use Accuradio a lot - I like the Cetlic music they play.
