Is anyone using either the RSS feed or WAP2 for these forums?
-
Yes, I rely on RSS to keep abreast of this site.

By default the RSS feed only shows the five most recent posts - are you using that or have you added the option to the URL to show more?
Edit: How to configure feed: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=25009.0

Oh.
I use Feedly and it is showing 31 days of messages in the history for the Kitz forum. From what I can deduce it polls about hourly (unless you pay for a Pro option). That implies that my feed is effectively throttled and I will only receive about 5 messages an hour. Enough to look active but I literally do not know what I am missing.
That link explaining how to customize the RSS results is extremely useful. I will increase my limit but first I need to narrow my boards.
Thanks for the heads up @jelv

Have you tried http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php?action=unread;wap2 in the browser? It shows all unread posts since your last visit (needs you to have logged in permanently). It's very bare with minimal formatting but looks useable.

Thanks but WAP2 cannot be parsed by my RSS reader.
I have been unable to read multiple boards in Feedly. It seems to truncate the URL at the first comma. Using %2c for the commas has not helped.
I have settled for adding one feed per category that I am interested in.

I wasn't suggesting using WAP2 in the RSS reader - have a look at it in the browser.
