With apologies for the mistake with v6.1.2, this is what 6.1.2 should have been:
Changes since v6.1:
- fixed failed snapshots when the first time is set to 00:00
- added date/time stamp to email alerts
- added decimal conversion of Vendor ID in stats

Thank you. :) Downloaded and will be set operational . . .

V.6.1.3 running on my RPi Mk.1B and harvesting merrily to MDWS, looking good so far.
Many thanks Eric..

Been running here a few hours OK so far on W7.

Thank you all.

With MDWS closing is it possible to configure dslstats to keep snapshots of the stats a bit more frequently without keeping large snapshots of graph data?
It would be great if dslstats could save a time-stamped zip file of all the telnet output (should be very small filesize) every minute or two at least the data will be available if we need it?
I know it is a big ask with your time contraints but I thought if you don't ask you don't even have a chance of getting ;)

I'll see what I can do, but no promises.

A big thumbs up with crossed fingers from me :)

V6.3.1 running on RPi Zero W, and looking good.
(For someone used to Windose upgrades, the transition was refreshingly easy. I'm not used to config files being preserved! I can foresee a repurposing of an old PC on the horizon! :linux:)

Everything running fine here also on a rpi2.
With mdws closing I am trying the webserver option. Once realising there is no default page I am using http://domain:55555/combined.html is this correct? This page seems to be missing qln.PNG, bitswap.PNG & snrpertone.png in the webserver directory though would it be a good idea to add them to the combined page? Thanks
-
The combined page should show all the items which you have ticked in the "Items to include (snapshots + HTML pages" section. Have you got all the required items ticked?
Configuring the webserver is explained here: http://dslstats.me.uk/webserver.html

A couple of thoughts if I may please on DSLstats, especially with MDWS closing.
1) If recording is stopped/restarted can the graphs carry on from where they left off? I see "ES per hour" does this and would be good if the others did also?
2) Could the Averages tab also show total ES in a 24 hour period?
I hope you don't mind my suggestions. You could always set a target for donations to implement a few things ;)

I have everything checked it appears the combined page does not include the PNGs that I mentioned either by design or a bug. Or more than likely user error but I can't see what I am doing wrong :)
-
Sorry, I think I misunderstood your question. QLN, Bitswap and SNR per tone aren't included at present. The only things which can be included in the combined page are those which are shown on the dialog and are ticked.

Just to say that I now have this running gathering stats on my Netgear D6220 just fine.

1. Retaining the ES data is fairly simple, but carrying over the per-minute graph data would be a more complicated task, and in the present circumstances I don't think I'm ready to take it on.
2. I'll put this on the (expanding) todo list.
Concerning donations, thank you for the suggestion, but the rate of development is limited by my own personal circumstances, not money. :)

Alternatively, you could invest in a calculator and multiply the average by 24! ;) ;) :-X

Sometimes not quite so easy, or at least not on my line.
I get daily spikes of Err/Secs which mean its hard to see the smaller totals when its on autoscale. I have to mess around with several clipping values to see them all. On several occasions I've been quite close to the limit.
DSLstats is a godsend to me as I get it to send me alerts so I can reboot the router, but I used to rely on MDWS to get the ErrSec daily total.
-
Do you want the running 24-hour total, or the total per calendar day?
-
My vote would go to a running 24 hour total :)
-
Tony used to do the total per day. ie midnight to midnight which is what the DLM is supposed to use for MTBE. *
In another thread someone else requested the 'traffic light' total, which I think amounts to the same thing... or at least having the daily figure would go a huge way for those who do watch their MBTE, but either would be useful please as Err Secs is one of the most important figures for DLM.
---
*caveat for those with G.INP in that DLM may also look at LEFTRS so it shouldn't be taken as the gospel figure.
-
Seems to be running fine on a RPI. Data store seems to be generating ok. Thanks

That's what I'll do then (and it's a lot easier to implement than a running total) :)

Thank you vm :)
