Title: VOIP
Post by: Dwight on February 25, 2018, 04:37:31 PM
Hi Folks
Need a bit of info, with the new FTTP there is no copper as we know. So the question is this, will the same phone plug into the ONT or does it need top be a specific VOIP phone?
Cheers.
David

There is an ATA (analogue telephone adaptor) within the ONT (optical network terminal) which allows a standard telephone to be connected and used.

Cheers Burakkucat,
Had seen the socket on photos but wasn't sure if it need to be VOIP specific.
