Title: G.FAST and MK3 faceplate?
Post by: se1lad on February 16, 2018, 11:45:15 AM
I thought that if you moved to g.fast from Infinity  you would need a new faceplate fitting.  Looking at the user guide for the new BT Ultrafast Smart Hub, it looks like this might not be the case?

I currently have a MK3 faceplate fitted with at 10m CAT6 cable connecting to my hub.  As the master socket is hidden behind panelling which is difficult to remove and access, it would make life much easier if I could stick with my current faceplate when g.fast becomes available.

It also looks from the manual that g.fast will work over an unfiltered faceplate, provided you use the special filter provided?
