Title: Smallish SNRM drop on US. Portent?
Post by: 22over7 on January 25, 2018, 12:35:43 PM
For about 120 days my (SandReck on MDWS) SNRM levels have been pretty solid, all around 7.5 db, D&U.  About 10:15 this morning the US dropped to 6.4(U0),6(U1),5.7(U2).  There was some unusual wiggling around 3:30pm yesterday. (An Openreach man was guddling in the PCP mid-afternoon, but it might have been the day before.)

Modem is Zyxel VMG1312-B10A.  My sync is (still) 79999 / 19999.  Speed tests (still) nudge 74000 / 18000.  My Errored Seconds are low, and mostly on US.  My TBBQM often shows a fair smattering of dropped packets, generally in the middle of the night when there nobody's using anything, only MDWS uploads).

I'm a bit given to paranoia, so naturally expect Bad Things to start happening.  (Apart from US SNRM, other stats look much the same). More healthily, I'm also given to plain curiosity, and seek some enlightenment about why this might have happened, and what it if anything might portend?
