Title: Derbyshire households set to get MEGA FAST broadband
Post by: digit101 on January 23, 2018, 05:27:22 PM
Hi, just noticed a newspaper article last month suggesting our village is to get FTTP!?

http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/business/derbyshire-households-set-mega-fast-952702 (http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/business/derbyshire-households-set-mega-fast-952702)

Does anyone have an idea how long it will be? I've had a quick look on bt wholesale line checker and none of the local houses are showing FTTP as available only FTTPoD

Thanks

I was told a couple of weeks back that this was happening but my informant had no idea how soon it would be implemented.

My understanding is that it's GFast - at least for the Swadlincote area.

It's coming to Pinxton?? I worked in Pinxton for a few months, I didn't think some of the folks there had running water!
