CarPhoneWarehouse's offer of £550million for the purchase of Tiscali has been rejected.
According to the Financial Times (http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/9f28c460-2069-11dd-80b4-000077b07658.html?nclick_check=1) theres now 6 remaining companies whom Tiscali are "preparing to open up their books to". Those companies said to now be in the running include Vodafone and BSkyB.
The FT also quotes
"Tiscali on Monday reported a net loss of €37.5m for the first quarter of 2008 compared with €42.5m in the same period last year."
