Hi I have an unlocked HG612 which I am trying to setup in route mode with not much luck I currently have a VDSL2 connection an am running HG612V100R001C01B030SP08 I have tried.
WAN Connection – enabled
Service List – INTERNET
Port Binding – LAN1
Connection Mode – Bridge
Bridge Type – PPPoE Bridge (from IP bridged as default)
DHCP Transparent Transmission – Disabled (was enabled)
WAN 802.1q – Enabled – VLAN ID: 101
WAN 802.1p – Enabled – VLAN ID: 1 (was 2)
LAN 802.1q – Disable
but it does not seem to want to give the connection but I can see that it is connected I am with plusnet.

If you want it as a router why have you set it to bridge?

Also note that the HG612 isn't really powerful enough to operate as a full modem/router with VDSL2. It's good as a modem in bridge mode with a separate router. See http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/hg612unlock.htm#hg612_linestats

Just for my own curiosity, why did you change...
WAN 802.1p – Enabled – VLAN ID: 1 (was 2)
