I'm grateful for the help/advice I've had here, and generally like the cut of your jibs.  So hello.
I'm roughly 65 and 3/4, retired, having zig-zagged between academia and computer companies.
I loathe technology, having made some (cf Bismark on laws/sausages).
I hate tech with enough venom to stay up for days and beat it into submission or (more often) pieces.
I know next to nothing about telecoms.

Live in Scotlandshire, in the fur coat and nae-knickers department. Sometimes dress more soberly outwith the hoose.
Play guitar, up to a point. Married to a drummer with tinnitus.
Pals call me "hank".

Hello...   and at this point I'd normally say welcome,  but as you've already been hanging around the forums for a while, I will have to change my usual script and say thanks for the intro info.  As Mr cat points out its always nice to get some background info about the person behind the screen. :)
