Title: Getting IP profile
Post by: GigabitEthernet on August 18, 2017, 01:00:12 PM
Is it still only possible to get the current IP profile, by running the BT Wholesale speed test?

Yes.

You can work it out from your sync rate.

It's 96.79% of the connection rate without G.INP and 96.69% with G.INP enabled (I think)

Alternatively if you're with Zen you should be able to get it from the 'Line Data' section on the customer portal.

I may have an issue then. My downstream sync speed is 54997 Kbps and my IP profile as reported by the BT Wholesale speed tester is only 50.93 Mbps.

Is your snr margin lower than 6?

You don't have a problem. The I.P profile drops to roughly 91% of sync when retransmission high is set. retransmission low is about 96%.
I can't remember the exact figures. I do recall you saying G.INP increased some of its parameters so does sound like you are on retransmission high.
