Been playing with modems tonight trying an unlocked HG612 with the Help of Kitz pages on the subject. But have restored my trusty TP-Link TD-W9970. But after playing I find that JD Auto Speed tester upload test has dropped from 17mbps to 5mbps. Testing using the speedtests on TBB and Speedtest.net shows upload is at a normal rate of about 16.9mbps. Any ideas why JDs Auto tester which usually shows best speeds would suddenly show low?

Seems to have sorted itself out maybe some congestion on the JD server.
