Hi all
I have been using MDWS for some time we had a bad line fault that is now sorted but. Now the stats are not uploading. The stats server has been changed to a armhf based system using a raspi version of dslstats
The software said it's connecting ok but when I check my stats on the site my nick is offline. My timezone is ok and all looks fine could I be blocked? could an admin check please thanks I can't see why my stats are not showing.

The last upload you made was some three weeks ago on the 28th May. I can't see anything here in the logs but then if you aren't getting anything to the server there won't be anything to see.
What does the DSLStats Event Log show and which version are you using?
Can you access the MDWS Homepage (https://www.mydslwebstats.co.uk) on the same device you are using to upload? If you can't and get an error can you please either provide the requested info or PM me your IP Address - you can check it here (http://whatismyipaddress.com/).

Presumably you're using DSLstats here. Look at Configuration --> MyDSLWebStats and check that all the details are correctly filled in. There is a "Check now" button which you can use to confirm that the validation key, etc., are right. And of course, make sure that the "Upload data to MyDSLWebStats" option is ticked.

Hi again everything looks OK under the mydslwebstats tab I have check OK my line has a bad intermittent fault that causes it to sync but have no internet. BT OE are sending an fault investigation engineer tomorrow morning. Last one was here yesterday and he replaced some equipment at the cab\dslam my net is back for now but it may drop again can then be down for days or hrs!.
I would like to get my web stats running so I can know when my connection is down. When at work..
Sorry for going a little of topic regards the fault...

Your IP appears in the server log okay accessing the DSLStats Check page so on that basis there is nothing at this end stopping you from uploading stats.

Very likely, it appears to show that it can't read your IP address. I had assumed you had altered it to disguise the correct address ???
Possibly Eric may have an idea.

yea strange indeed it worked before..
Wish i had a spare intel widows box... Arm boxes are buggy and this could be the problem....

This was a deliberate change I made to the data received from my old website when DSLstats requests the IP address. It doesn't affect the normal running of the program at present, but as it says you do need to upgrade to v5.9 or later because the old website will soon be taken down. When this happens, versions prior to v5.9 will not work smoothly.

It looks like a problem with the arm/raspi version of the dslstats as my windows box is now uploading fine...
i will be looking into why its not working...

jimgb17...you need to upgrade to DSLSTATS V5.9 for upload to MDWS to work correctly; roseway is the author of said program and as he writes

i will dl the latest version from his new site hope this sorts the problem..

ok now when i run dsl stats i get access violation press ok to ignore and risk data corruption. popup
can i ignore this or is this a problem?

its a little odroid u3 with ubuntu 16.04 mate
i have reinstalled os and checked my system i can't see the reason its not uploaded even the ubuntu firewall is disabled.
i also reinstalled curl to check that but to no avail i am not getting any errors anymore i sorted that.
my time and date are also correct
Could this be a permissions issue? should i chmod 777 the /home/odroid/.dslstats directory?

I very much doubt it. The ~/.dslstats/ directory should only need to be mode 755 . . . Thinking about it, even mode 700 would probably be sufficient.

Looks like i mite have to give up on this one :'( its strange as it was working great before it just sits there as if everything is ok but my stats are not showing...

I can't really help with this, as I know nothing about this hardware. All ARM processors are not equal, and I suppose it may be the case that some programs built on RPi hardware, using RPi software, may not function properly on this hardware.

If jimgb17 could install the debian OS on his ODROID-U3 then DSLstats should work fine.

was going to give that a try. have my original rpi working at moment but i think the pi is to slow as it works for so longe then the rpi hangs and needs to reboot....also i get corupted data will give this q tri on my u3
