Title: Booking A Plane Flight Only.

We have only used package tours before when going abroad but we have been offered the use of an Apartment in southern Spain, the nearest Airport is Murcia which is about 30 minutes away by car to the apartment at Cape Palos.
Our local airport is EMA and it looks like 'Ryanair' is the only operator to use.

Any tips about booking the flight and car hire for one week in October 2017 also insurance .

 I've used Skyscanner many a time,  they also do car hire. You'll find flights vary a lot by which day you want to fly,  I think Tuesday or Wednesday used to be the cheapest.

Make sure you use a decent car hire firm,  although we've never had an issue, but probably because I've always been careful.
