It is that time of the year, once again. One egg has been laid, to date.
Here is the link (http://upp.hawkandowl.org/norwich-peregrines/norwich-cathedral-peregrine-live-web-cam-2017/) to the site from which you can choose the webcam image to view.
-
Late yesterday afternoon (Saturday) three eggs were seen.
-
I was beginning to suspect that this was going to be an unproductive year for the Norwich falcons but then, earlier today, I caught a glimpse of something white under Mrs Falcon's breast . . .
-
Not a successful year . . .
-
What a shame :(

Not a successful year . . .
I think you have your wrong glass's on !. :-\ or maybe your cats whiskers have got in your eyes ;D.
Edit ... go to the other webcam for poor internet.
-
Thank you for the suggestion. I shall keep checking daily . . . :)
-
Clearer image, with whole chick...
-
One out of three makes it a productive year. So not quite as bad as I had initially thought. :)

As long as the Magpie does not get the chick , have you read the news feeds ?
http://upp.hawkandowl.org/category/live-norwich-updates/
We have Magpies and they have been after the blue tits in our nest boxes also seen it going into next-doors hedge and bring out chicks :o
-
The chick can now hold its head up and look at the surroundings . . .
-
No more hiding :D
They soon grow.

They soon grow.
They certainly do. :)
This year, however, the Nottingham four are far in advance of the Norwich one.
-
Investigating the local environment and taking in the view . . .
-
Just finished feeding . . .
-
One and one . . .
-
Just finished dismantling the section of a small bird, provided by one of the parents, . . .
-
Busy doing nothing . . .
-
There have been high winds and rain, all day, in East Anglia. One of the parents had decided to settle down with the young . . .
-
The young falcon appeared to be having thoughts about flying . . .
-
Very adventurous today. I suspect that the initial flight is now imminent . . .
-
The text article has this addition today:
**18:52** Chick fledged. More to follow…. (Possibly not till tomorrow)
-
Yes, the young has flown . . .
-
"No, no, no. How do I make this thing go up?"
