can any one explain what a frop is ? used in data transmission
-
Never heard of it but a web search turns this up :=
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=frop
As it is about transmitting a word without actually saying it, it is about data transmission ?
-
Perhaps the context in which the term was used might help.
-
Possibly Fare Rule Output Product (http://www.atpco.net/products/fare-management/frop) ?
-
Maybe it's a Japanese flop.

had an issue where some one was losing session on the router but not sync this went to the guys at network who advised that each time there was a drop in session it retrained within 4 seconds with no frop so im guessing its a way of measuring packet loss this was on both a wired and wireless connection may be a router issue I know frop is an abbreviation but wasn't sure what it meant

Perhaps it was a typo, d and f are adjacent on the keyboard!

actually never thought of that mmmmmmmmm
