Title: Problem with search

I'm thinking this is my stupidity, full of drugs as usual. I can't seem to get the site search thing to work for me, could someone debug me?

Could you do a search for that, with condition (1) being "in that thread", and (2) user=weaver and then I'll see what you did?

I tried searching for posts by user "weaver", put in "pulse8" as the search text, ticked "topic subjects" only and last 50 days, but no joy. Is that sensible? Case sensitive? Tried that. Tried getting rid of the topic subjects only qualifier, the date range, no joy.

Weaver,
Ticking 'Search in topic subjects only' finds it, but that does not make sense as the 'only' would suggest that if unticked it will seach both the subject and the content.

Weird, it didn't work for me. Tried every variant I could think of.

is it case-sensitive?

Worked first time for me using the advanced search.   
The search function doesn't appear to be case sensitive as it found an upper case result even though I'd used lower case.
