The only thing I do not like with PCLinux is the printing.
I have tried changing all the printer settings to no avail, still not as good as xp !.
The only reason I'm using xp is to do my daughters printing for he homework.
Epson Stylus C42UX

I can't help you there, I'm afraid. I've no experience of Epson printers. HP printers are very well supported by an HP utility called hplip, which provides drivers supporting all the features of the printers. Epson don't seem to do the same, but this (http://www.epsondevelopers.com/home/linux_printers) might be of help.

I use 'Cups' system at the moment, there seams to be quite a few people on the pclinux forum having the same problems.
I don't want to get another printer as I have another two (nearly new) of these printers. :'(
I,m working to get 'VirtualBox' installed with xp on it just to print from. ;)

Have you downloaded the latest Linux drivers from http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=FGQ8MBMpKluHKLuxhcc0nd2MkFqbM0IKCU002FJQHk78yhMU003D&tc=6

Have you downloaded the latest Linux drivers
Thanks, Had a look .
That link takes you to another site in a round about way, but I could not find any drives for 'pclinux' os.

Have you selected the correct option where I have put the red arrow.
The page clearly shows the Linux drivers as a download.
(https://forum.kitz.co.uk/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi100.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fm34%2Fbunessan%2Flinuxdrivers.jpg&hash=096405c5fa1d322da5c524f5036ab09940a5ae75)
I have downloaded the file as a zip at 500 bytes, can I mail it to you.?

Thanks for taking the trouble :), but that is only a link to another site (notice 0.00 bytes)
The other site gives lists of drivers, but none for "pclinux".

You won't find drivers specifically made for PCLinuxOS. A Linux driver is a Linux driver, and it should be possible to use it on any modern Linux system. If you download that 'zero bytes' file you will find that it's actually a small html document with links to download sites for various types of Epson equipment. Follow the link for inkjet printers and you can get the driver you want - choose Mandriva --> 2007 as your OS (PCLOS is derived from Mandriva 2007) and you will eventually get to an RPM file which should install on your system.
