Title: The G.992.3 spec itself
Post by: Weaver on October 06, 2016, 02:28:51 AM
Has anyone else read through the guts of the G.992.3 spec itself? There are some bits of it that I just don't understand, probably because I am too stupid.

I also think I need to read a few other related documents to get all of it. I suspect that G.994.1 is one such? Is that correct? For one thing, I'm unclear where some of the parameters in Table 7.6 and Table 6.1 are set (I'm aware that the two are interlinked).

Actually, I suspect that it will make more sense if I read G.992.1 as well, and compare the two. I get the feeling that the authors assume that everyone has read both.

I prefer Zopiclone for insomnia if I'm honest :)

Any fellow sufferers who have worked their way through these documents, I would love to compare notes anyway. And it didn't help me get to sleep, in fact quite the reverse, unfortunately.

Following my efforts at thoroughly reading G.992.3 (other thread) I took note of the G.992.3 PMS-TC control parameters (Table 7.6) that Burakkucat was kind enough to post here

Am still trying to work my way through them. Learning a lot though.
