Title: Mahjong game
Post by: roseway on April 10, 2008, 09:48:16 AM
I'm trying to locate a Mahjong game which will run on Windows 2000 for a friend of mine. What I'm talking about is real 4-player Mahjong, not the solitaire game which is commonly but incorrectly called Mahjong. Does anyone know of a source?

Thanks, but it doesn't seem to be available for download (unless the server is temporarily down).

I've just downloaded it from the (very slow) "Server 1"...........

Edit - installed it. Looks a bit more complicated than "normal" Mahjong :D

OK, I'll keep trying, but every time so far I've got 'No connect' as a response from both servers.

If you have PG2 or any other type of blocker running it might pay to keep an eye on it or even disable until after the download has completed.

For me the CA site can be terrible to get on-to with all the adds trying to load.

Thanks OF, but it also happens on a machine with no blockers or browser addons at all. I suspect that the servers are overloaded, and Rizla was lucky to get in.

[Edit] I just succeeded with server 2.

It's the real game of Mahjong, which is fairly complicated. This version is actually a very nice implementation, so thanks for finding it. It's well worth the €30.

Blimey! It must be good what with the current exchange rate.

My friend is a real enthusiast, and £24 is a fairly modest sum for the amount of pleasure it will give her.
