Title: BT TV Changes & Contract?

When BT removed Fox from it's TV lineup earlier this year I was less than please (only just signing up) and had the TV terminated, now at the time I wasn't exactly happy with BT's customer service but I didn't need it, however now I'm in a situations where BT's poor customer service is becoming a problem again...

Now when the changes to the TV happened I called up and cancelled the TV but I asked when on the phone about the Broadband and Phone... they said they wouldn't cancel them due to the TV being the issue... now am I correct to assume as it was part of the bundle they should have allowed 'if wanted' to quit the Broadband and Phone package?
