Title: TP-Link Archer VR2600
Post by: ejs on March 28, 2016, 11:44:43 AM
I had a look through the GPL source code released for the TP-Link Archer VR2600 (http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat-15_Archer-VR2600.html). It's another one of these devices that has two separate systems in one box, networked together internally. The wireless router part is Qualcomm Atheros, which gives the VR2600 very similar wireless specifications as the Netgear D7800. The VDSL2 modem in the Archer VR2600, however, is Broadcom, apparently it has the BCM63268 chip.

The price tag of slightly over £200 seems a bit silly, I guess you'd really have to want that 4th wireless antenna.
