Is it possible to have a link at the end of the last page on a thread (or any where for that matter) so that after scrolling to the last post there could be a link to jump back to the top of the page instead of having to scroll back or use the "Jump Too" button.

Yes its possible
- SMF is open source so if you have the knowledge you could possibly change just about anything you want.
Do I know how to do this on flat pages?
Yes it would be a case of adding another button and an anchor to the top of the page.
Do I know where to insert this in the SMF templates?
No -
its sometimes a nightmare trying to find the correct templates and change anything since theres millions of lines of code, and its not always presented in a format thats easy to read.
Changing the header file (ie the top bit you see) is okish since I normally do that in html first - then just insert that straight into the header file which is separate and doesnt touch any of the main sections.
Aside from changing the images and CSS for the colours and fonts etc, I havent ever delved deep into the structure of the software itself. :/

I just use the CTRL and the ( well I call it back to top key ::) ) ... but I'm using an AZERTY keyboard ...... !! on a QWERTY I think it's the Home key ... ???
You can tell I'm such a technophobe can't you !!! :lol:

yep your right kate - on my keyboard just pressing the "Home" key takes me back to the top of the page

What I do is hit the 'home' key to get back to the top of a page (similarly the 'end' key will take you to the bottom).

I'm was just trying to be lazy and not have to take my hand of the mouse, which is not directly next to the keyboard that's why I wondered if it was possible.

Okay, truth be told.
Picture the situation!
Lounging back in my almost rocking type chair (no not a bath chair) feet pleasantly raised on the foot-stool beneath the desk with the keyboard about two feet away.
So, it means un-relaxing ones comfortably laid back position, removing any goodies that one may have on ones lap, then proceeding to the keyboard just to press a button.
I'm sorry, I just can't help being a lazy person. (but I will try) :lol: :'( :lol: one day.
