That may well prove to be useful. Thank you for the link.
I see that the site Admin welcomes corrections and new additions.

The sheer density of it is frightening. And take a look at ASN.

Thank you for posting, ;)

Oooooooh ................ forgot about this nugget.
Only perused page 1 and hopefully found one I can add to the 'C' menu ............. one which is used daily by OR is CIDT (Copper Integrated Digital Test).
I'm sure Mr Cat would be able to word it better than I, and I am off to work very shortly ...... but this basically runs a low-frequency test of the copper pair, followed by a digital test by pinging the EU's router at various frequencies. Very helpful in detecting high resistance (HR) faults.
Also ...... 'Battery Contact' could be better worded to, 'Where one telephone circuit is in contact with another. The affect on service depends on the severity of said contact, which can be anything from a few volts up to the full working voltage of circa -50v'.
I'm gonna stop now. ;D

According to my copy of the "Fact Sheet" dated 2011, PHME 62559 --
Copper Integrated Demand Testing
Copper Integrated Demand Testing (CIDT) is a new enhanced line test capability
that offers big benefits to Openreach and Communications Providers (CPs) alike.
It’s part of a major programme to upgrade our test capability and uses innovative
techniques and analysis on new generation test heads. CIDT vastly improves the
ability to identify and locate problems with end user voice and broadband services.
One other thing to mention is that the link (http://www.btglossary.co.uk/index.php?title=Main_Page) Kitz provided, above, is to a third party site which is not under this site's (or forum's) control.
