Title: IGMP snooping for BT tv multicast.
Post by: WesBez7 on November 23, 2015, 03:43:31 PM
Hi.

I've recently set up my hh5a and hg612 (unlocked) on my 80/20 line. The BT tv multicast is working but I'm wanting best practice settings.

With regards to the above setting on hg612. Should I enable this? Any other settings I should look at.

Thanks in advance.

The HG612 is acting purely as a Bridge modem, therefore you don't need to mess with these settings. All of my IGMP related settings on the HG612 are unticked, as they are by default.

The router, in your case the Home Hub is handling all of the IGMP related stuff :)
