I tried to reach a web site and instead of the site got this message

Seems rather ridiculous, so why on earth bother at all to have web site? Perhapsyou big brains can explain to one, whose grey cells are diminishing! ;D

This happens quite often when a domain is either parked pending creation or more usually when someone buys a domain with the intention of sitting on it until they can sell it at an inflated price.

Can you post a link to the website?

Hi
There are many reasons for this, which 1 has been mentioned.
The domain in question is clearly a parked domain but the owner details will still be traceable.
We have a particular client who owns hundreds of domain names, but primary only use their main domain, with some been used for Seo, but not all because the ranking falls if too many used.
The reason why they own so many is brand protection, and over 80% are parked domains, and this just covers Europe, they have domains registered world wide through our company
Many thanks
John

I'd rather not post publicly, but will PM in confidence.

The clue is in the message you posted. ;D ;D
Look up 'Parkingcrew' and see what they do.

Having looked at the page in question, the above is undoubtedly correct. I've replied to your PM with some more information.

I tried to reach a web site
What caused you to try the web address you did? Was it a link, search or a guess?
-
Curiosity; someone, who was friend of daughter, did some work for us, and had an 'interesting' web address.
-
Do you actually mean email address?

If that was an email address it is not uncommon to buy a domain to use it for email and not bother with a website. I have found this before when using the domain part of an email address to see if there was an associated website.

Nope!

In that case I'm lost sorry.
