Title: windows 10 driver updates changes in new insider build
Post by: Chrysalis on October 20, 2015, 01:15:12 PM
in build 10565 the option to disable driver updates via windows update is gone and replaced with something else, its now a generic on/off for "automatic download manufacturers apps/icons", the word drivers is not there suggesting they may now be forcing it on.  Previously it was like the windows 7 dialog box.

My only comment is ....... 'and you are surprised by this ??!!'  ;D ;D

Set your expectations low and be prepared to to plumb new depths as time goes on.

MS's open ended EULA makes all this likely as the EULA is in it's current form for a reason.
MS will keep chipping away at the few options left 'open' to get to what they really want ...... total lock down of choice and data slurping nirvana (for them)  :D

Chrysalis, you obviously 'crave disappointment' to persist if you think MS will recant or things will get better eventually.  ;D ;D
[Tip of hat to a certain Mr. Bill Bailey :hat:]
