homofaciens.de has some marvellous videos, often involving the Raspberry Pi, and this one shows the recording of the recent lunar eclipse using a Raspberry Pi

It is fascinating, but also made me laugh several times; and I'm not sure if it's because the author confirms the (British) stereotype of German obsession with precision, or if he is deliberately nodding to it (I suspect the latter). Regardless, it is interesting to watch.
I also admire his Raspberry Pi powered pen-plotters

What a great guy :) And a fascinating film of the eclipse despite his reservations about the quality.
