Title: Just renewed my oldies' three year driving licence.

Its good one can do it on line, but, my gosh, what a load of personal info they require. TBH i was expecting to be asked my shoe size and fitting, inside leg measurement and how I dressed. All that from one of the most incompetent government agencies. ::)

Thank god you can do it on the web at least. I've now got that to look forward to some day.

I've still got an old-school paper one, for a little while yet, but will have to upgrade it later this decade.

Had to show it in Greece the other day and the (Greek) guy inspecting it said "I thought they stopped issuing those in Winston Churchill's time!".

I have an old-fashioned paper one too. Must mean that I haven't been banned so often recently.

Tucked away, with other historic items, is my little maroon booklet.  :)
