I finally replaced a HH5 with a HG612 which immediately achieved about 20% higher syncs but I am still getting disconnected 1-2 times a day.
I am definitely getting disconnected as BT gives me a new IP but the HG612 still says I've been connected for 3+ days.
Last time this happened was about 2100 today. My name on mydslwebstats is "KyleMac". Any ideas what's going on?

It's the PPP session disconnecting, not the DSL link?

Then the question becomes what's causing PPP to disconnect? There's nothing in the stats around the time it happened (the drop in SNR the hour before is the sunset which happens every day and isn't correlated to disconnects).
The biggest problem we have is that we can't hold a connection in the rain and I think the record is 20 disconnects in an hour. BT sent an engineer but he said there's nothing he can do unless he visits when it's raining and he left 5 mins later.
