Title: VMware unleashes Linux on the (virtual) desktop [Slightly old from The Register]
Post by: AArdvark on August 17, 2015, 12:34:02 AM
Very interesting article about Linux as a Desktop being supported by VMWares Horizon product.

Even more interesting are the comments from a Strong Linux Supporter (or two) doing this in anger for their users and a somewhat unconvinced MS Supporter.  ;D
Covers a lot of ground and is interesting for people at the SMB end of the market.

SMB's do tend, in my experience, to be more capable of change quickly if the advantages are obvious and it impacts the bottom line in a noticeable way (read: Saves real money)

Worth a read for the entertainment value alone.  ;D
