BTW speedtest says 58/16mbps with an IP profile of 71.73

I would say that line is doing well with G. INP switched on.

As for getting more speed I'm not sure. But the sync seems to match up with the ip profile.

With that sync you should be speed testing D/L at 70Mbps+. Try a different speed tester.

Did you reboot the router after G.INP was enabled to get a new PPPOE session ?

That's looking pretty good for the line length!

I'm curious to see your sync speed and other stats pre-G.INP.

you only just over 5 mbit below the max possible sync speed.

On a tcp speedtest in ideal conditions I would expect 69-70mbit/sec.

gave the Huawei a kick this morning because I had some more SNR headroom available. Now getting speedtest results of 70.x/16.x

I do not have any HG stats because it causes DPC problems (audio stuttering on SPDIF & ASIO) and when running on my PC (Maybe I should bug report it to the dev). It's been like this over two computer changes too so I don't know why it continues to be an issue. Only disabling the stats service a reboot fixes it.

Please do provide some Event & Error log details from when the stuttering occurs & I'll look into it.
That's the first time I have seen mention of that issue.

I'm not sure what "DPC problems" means.
Being in the building industry, DPC to me means Damp Proof Course, but I can't see HG612 Modem Stats having much of an effect there

If any kernel-mode device driver in your Windows system is implemented improperly and causes excessive latencies of Deferred Procedure Calls (DPCs) then probably drop-outs will occur when you use real-time audio or video streaming applications.

[off topic]
b*cat likes the conjunction of the words "Windows system implemented improperly".  :D
