I too have Windows 8.1 running under Bootcamp.
It simply means assgning that IP address to the network card on the PC which is attached to the HG612 LAN2
-
How do i go about that
-
It should be in here Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
Or type ncpa.cpl into the Start menu search
-
Ok got that far but could you be more specific not realy a windows person
-
Right-click on the connection, choose Properties
You should then have a list containing Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCPIP/IPv4), so left-click on that and choose properties, where you can "use the following IP address" assign the IP address 192.168.1.100, then Ok, Ok, Ok.
Then in a browser, go to http://192.168.1.1
