Title: "Codes that Changed The World" - BBC Radio
Post by: sheddyian on April 10, 2015, 09:28:21 PM
I've been listening to Codes That Changed The World on Radio 4 this week.  It's a 5 part series on the history of programming languages, each programme covering a different language.

Listen here on iplayer, or download podcasts of it :

I found it interesting, thought some here might also.

Thanks Ian, I've bookmarked that for listening later.

Had a listen to the Java episode as a kind of acid test(topics like programming languages are always going to be dumbed down by the BBC) - passable. Was a bit suspicious that it was Aleks Krotoski who used to present a silly computer games TV show and whose education is in psychology, doubt she actually has much programming experience.
