Title: HG612 Modem stats - anyway to zero the stats?
Post by: Bowdon on January 30, 2015, 04:01:15 PM
Hi all,

This is a great program, and so far the best I've ever used.

I just have one question. Is there any way to zero the stats again? As at some point I can imagine my fec number is going to get very high lol. Or does everything zero again when it re-sync's? i.e. should I wait for the resync?

I'm not looking to do the zero'ing anytime soon. More for future reference.

No. There is no way to zero the stats as they are cumulative values stored by the modem.

Some of the stats are reset to zero when the connection resyncs & all of the stats are reset to zero when the modem is rebooted or powered off/on.

The stats are also reset to zero whenever they reach the maximum value the modem can store (somewhere around 8.5 Billion).

I have seen that happen on a few connections (FEC counts), but the delta counts per minute are unaffected as they are calculated by HG612 Modem Stats & the ongoing graphs continue to be plotted seamlessly.
