Title: Cut and pasting from DSL stats
Post by: Miked1963 on September 10, 2014, 02:12:53 PM
Hi all,
my first post on here, I hope some one can help me,
I got an unlocked eci/r recently,  I've disabled the BT agent via putty.
The graphs and stats come up ok on eDMT, and my line is more stable, but
for some reason I can not cut and paste the graphs or stats to post them any where.  :(
Has anybody got any ideas why ?

Many thanks..

Mike

My guess is they're probably images, not text. If that's the case you should be able to save copies of the images by right-clicking on them and selecting the "Save" item on the popup menu.

(I presume you're not talking about the program DSLstats, because it doesn't support the ECI.)

Hi roseway,
well it is DSL stats, but it's part of eDMT. it's not the full DSL stats unfortunately. But it is shown on these
forums.
When I right click nothing comes up. As an example if I went on "snr 6.0", I can hi lite that individual box
and probably paste it, but it would take forever   doing every box that way.

OK, so my guess was wrong, and they're not images. I'm not familiar with eDMT, so I don't know how the data is presented. But if you can't highlight the whole section to copy and paste it, perhaps you could use a screen capture program to save that section of the page as an image.

Thanks for having a look Eric
I've just posted this on the eci/r thread. Thanks for help.
