Title: Hg 635 system log.
Post by: ashley on June 05, 2014, 02:29:27 PM
Hi all,
I have a problem with my new talktalk fibre connection. ( I've tried their forums and customer support to no avail.) when I connect my ps4 for online gaming via LAN cable it disconnects my fibre service and router has to resync.  It will do this every 5 to 10 mins. I get this in the system log of the router but no one can tell me what it means.

2014-01-12 03:57:02 System Notice WAN connection INTERNET_TR069_R_VID_101:IPv4 disconnected.(ERROR_NO_CARRIER)

TR069 is a remote management feature I think.

Vid 101 might be vlan 101?

It's probably just sending a trap/notification/syslog message to highlight the loss of connectivity.

Tried a different LAN cable? Perhaps move the router 2 metres away from any other power sources/TVs/etc too?

TR069 is BT's backdoor into your router so they can remotely update it.
