Title: VOIP Router adaptor advice
Post by: canon on January 12, 2008, 05:35:52 PM
I would like some advice on VOIP adaptors that enable a normal phone to be connected to a VOIP service via a router.
I've come across the Zoom device (http://tinyurl.com/325w5k) but are there any more to choose from? This option seems it may be cheaper than buying, for example, a Skype enabled phone. I would just like to make use of my existing cordless set of 3.
I'm likely to use Skype as a provider as it will enable me to do PC to PC VOIP as well although I do use Yahoo Messenger.
Question 2: can you use a VOIP handset to do a PC to PC call rather than a headset?
Terry.
