Hi all,
Whilst making a call yesterday (BT landline) the phone went dead. Also no dialtone. But ADSL - not BT - was/is fine.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could test the line and report a fault via the BT website.
The BT site said there was a fault in my area - and 10 minutes later claimed the fault was fixed. It wasn't.
Then it decided that my line does have a fault, probably in the exchange.
Less pleasant to discover that BT reckon it will take 3 days to fix.
