Title: Noise Spikes

Does anyone know what is the likely cause of these noise/error spikes (see pics). It usually occurs every 10 minutes between 3pm and 9pm, although today it started at midday. The telephone line to the cabinet is entirely underground, and I have ruled out anything in my house as the cause.

Thank you for those further graphs.

As I understand it, your service is essentially unaffected by the "peculiarity"?

This needs some thought . . . plus input from other Kitizens, please.  ;)

Being so regular, it has to be something to do with electrical machinery, I would have thought. Are there any nearby factories or other users of large electrical equipment?

There isn't any real impact on the broadband at the moment, and DLM seems not to notice it probably because it isn't regular or severe enough.

I do live about 3-400 meters from an industrial estate although my phone line travels in the opposite direction.

As expected, the error spikes stopped at 9pm.
