Hi,
Latterly - quite a few months - I have been using Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 without problems. Used it as it's supposed to be fast. Told my Netgear router to use the Google addresses rather than "Get Automatically From ISP".
But the last couple of days I found that I wasn't able to connect to quite a number of sites - including http://vmware.com and http://kitz.co.uk
So have just changed back to the defaults provided by my ISP. As you can see I'm connecting to kitz again, and all other problem sites are now accessible too.
Cheers,
Peter

I use the Google public DNS servers -- have been doing so for quite a while -- and have noticed nothing 'out of the ordinary' over the last few days.

I use google DNS on this machine and cant say Ive noticed anything, but I also use other devices which use my ISP DNS.
I do know that all of google was down though last friday night for a short while.

Sounds like it's just me then. Wonder what caused my problem.
Cheers,

Something best put down as 'One of life's little mysteries', perhaps?
