Title: Gigaclear
Post by: tonyappuk on February 05, 2013, 07:28:31 PM
The local Parish magazine has promoted (maybe too strong a word) this fibre provisioning company. Initial checks suggest that it would cost £100 to connect and £37 a month for a 10 Meg connection (   bursting up to 1000!). Has anyone here heard of them or have any views. I think I might stick with my laboriously achieved 6.5M profile until BT decides to do more. And what does bursting up to 1000 mean, please?

I'll mention the village of Appleton in Oxfordshire and Walter's thread (http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,11653.msg223427.html#msg223427) here in the Kitz fora.

I think that will give you an adequate starting-point, Tony.

I hadn't realised that Walter had expounded on this before - I thought I had caught all his posts. Thanks, Kitz, for your reservations which are much like mine. Thanks all.
