Trying out 9.2.4.  Seems OK, although it still seems subjectively slow at loading pages compared to K-Meleon.

However I now find that the Internet is full of adverts  :'(, where did they come from?   ???

I had to load a proper hosts file to get rid of them.  And yes, I had already disabled DNS caching in XP.

Can I be the first to wish all our readers a very happy Christmas, or have I been beaten to it?

I'm still on 9.2.3 - didnt know there was a new version and "it hasnt told me yet".

I use proxomitron - have done for years -  which filters out most stuff.
