Title: DMT tool and the Echolife HG520b

I was hoping to have a play with the DMT tool on this Huawei Echolife HG520b modem that I've now got working with a  replacement PSU.

But being completely new to DMT, I'm a bit lost as there seem to be lots of versions.  Do different versions target different modem chipsets?

How do I choose which version to try with this modem?

do you know which chipset it uses? you would nee DMT v8 and your router would have to be Broadcom 6338, 6348 or 6358 chipset for it too work and even then you have to hope that Huawei have stuck too the standard broadcom busybox commands and not changed them slightly as some manufacturers do (Thompson is one example).
