Title: Software to analyse my connection through Netgear WN2000RPT
Post by: setecio on August 03, 2012, 09:40:06 AM
I have a wifi connection to a Netgear repeater WN2000RPTv2 with up to date fimware which is repeating from a Thompson TG585v8 adsl wifi modem router. I get various problems with the internet connection from my XP SP3 laptop and want to analyse the connection to see if there is anything I can do to improve things. Everything works good directly from the Thompson box.

a) Is there any good software that will analyse my connection to tell me what the problems are or identify if it is just problems from using the repeater as commonly experienced and described on various reviews.

b) Anyone know if the firmware upgrade for the Thompson is worth doing on my box from TalkTalk ?
