I have a working copy of DMT tool with the Billion 7800N!

If anybody would like a copy, please let me know.
NOTE: I can't take credit for this. Somebody made a tweaked version of DMT tool to work with the D-Link DSL-2640B because it wouldn't connect to the DMT tool. I figured: it could be the same problem on the Billion 7800N so I tried the tweaked version and hey, it works!

so is this the 2640B firmware v4.01 tweaked version of DMT that works with the 7800N ?? Or another one tweaked specifically for the 7800 ??
Can you tweak snrm with it ??
why no bitrates shown for up/downstream, or have you blanked them out of the screengrab ??
if it's the 4.01 tweaked one, then I have it already. If it's a new version, then I'd like a copy please....

It is the same version of DMT that is tweaked to work with the D-Link 2640B v4.01 firmware.
Can you tweak snrm with it ??
I haven't tried it yet but the options all show up so I don't see why one wouldn't be able to tweak the SNRM with it.

The bitrates (downstream and upstream sync speeds) don't show. I suspect it is similar to the way RouterStats works where the connection speeds aren't shown unless one ticks a box to change how the program gets the data.

brill :) that's good gen, and may well help 7800 users......might also give a hint when I can't get 2640B's any more ;)
if you do play with it a bit more and get the bitrates to show, it'd be worth knowing how...hint, hint :D

Can I also have a copy.
I have been trying to get dslstats working and do get access to telnet and adsl info --stats but it does not seem to record any info, so if anyone knows how to make DSLstats work with a Billion 7800n that would be great too.

I wasn't aware that DSLstats didn't work with the 7800N. Did you report it?
I've got a 7800N, and I think it still works. I'll connect it up and see what's going wrong.

Yes, certainly. It may need a mod to DSLstats of course, but I should be able to sort it anyway.

I have tried a number of settings, it does connect but does not seem to record stats.

I've got the 7800N connected up, and DSLstats is working with it and recording data. The reason it didn't work initially is that when you select the 7800N from the drop-down list on the login configuration page, it displays the wrong CLI command prefix. If you change that to 'adsl' you should find that it works.
Sorry about that mistake. I'll correct the router data in the next release.
