The Inquirer is reporting a major breakthrough in web forum useability :P
"It has taken a while, but someone has finally come up with software that can remove idiots from bulletin boards.
A team of software boffins is working on a "stupid filter" that will act like a spam filter and delete 'idiotic comments'."

It's priceless isn't it? I found this extract from the FAQ particularly amusing :
Isn't filtering stupidity elitist?
Yes. Yes, it is. That's sort of the whole point.
Best not put a L...O....L in the post in case kitz is a beta tester :P

I sometimes wish that my own stupidities could be filtered out before anyone reads them (keep quiet at the back there!).

Me three!
Oops. :-[

Excellent
That would probably wipe 80% of the forum posts in existence (well mine anyway )
Actually, remind me about that for next April Fools Day >:D

They seem to be serious - bye bye forums ......

I think I will have to extend the naughty corner ;D

we'll have to create our own forum with just us in it typing enlessly about our adsl connections and trolls until our gray beards (yes ladies, you as well) are getting matted in our keyboards.
eventually we will all pass away and the final forumite will be be making witty comments to himself in the games section and answering his own queries in the hardware section delirious to the fact that he is the only one left .... until BT's Ella-u-know-wots shape his bandwidth to just a trickle of 5 bytes per day (thats including headers).
then after 57 years of solitude, his wife opens the office door and calls 'cup of cha love?' .... 'ahhhh .. yes please'.
The End
