Title: Services List....getting printout
Post by: renluop on December 10, 2011, 06:58:58 PM
Can anyone tell me how I produce a printout of all the services available on my computer? I used cmd as administrator then tasklist / svc> c: \ liste.txt.

as advised elsewhere but access was denied.

In due course I wish to check which at start-up should be running, stopped, or manual.

Thx guys :)

Task manager or Process explorer, whatever suits.
Then use the snipping tool to capture the screen image and print that?

Very simple, Windows provides you with the tool.

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Services  then look at the top left there is an "export list" button provided, you can save your services list anywher you wish, see screeny attached.

Would also add that if you want advice/knowledge on Services ( or anything else about Windows) then take a trip to Black Viper's site and look at the guides there >> http://www.blackviper.com/  <<

Thanks all. :)

Black Viper site is interesting, but I'm not sure where the info about what status each should be set to is placed.
